Is Sonik free?
Yes. Every tab is free, with 100 new songs a day in Discover and one playlist a week. Sonik Pro, an optional subscription, removes both limits.
How does Sonik find new music I'll like?
A neural network listens to each preview and describes how it sounds. Your swipes tell Sonik which of those sounds you like, and the more you swipe, the better it gets.
Do I need Spotify or Apple Music?
No. Previews play inside Sonik. If you use either service, you can save your playlists to it.
Where does the music come from?
From Apple's music catalogue: more than 180,000 songs, each as a 30-second preview.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. Sonik is on iPhone, and you can try it in your browser.
